Otley are the proud winners of the Village of the Year Awards 2012! So the Parish Council would like to thank all those that contributed and the time given towards this achievement. It is testament to the large community spirit we have and hopefully offers recognition to all the volunteers who support the amazing community life that Otley has to offer, and to which you are all part of – so thank you once again. We couldn’t have done this without you.
The village will accordingly receive the annual Trophy plus a cheque for £200 and there will be a formal presentation in the near future.
Otley will now go forward as the District Council’s representative in the County-wide competition organised by Suffolk Association of Local Councils.......so we may be calling upon your services again – & don’t put the lawnmowers or strimmers away just yet!!
